Our goal is to make you happy with your purchase. We will repair/replace your Goods or credit your account if you are not entirely satisfied with it, according to the following terms. This Policy applies to Goods bought from www.youandigallery.com.
You and I Gallery Terms and Conditions are incorporated into this Policy, and so any words defined therein also mean the same thing here, unless the context indicates otherwise. The policy does not attempt to limit any statutory rights.
To ensure your request is processed as quickly as possible you are responsible for the following when returning your Goods;
a) package your Goods safely and securely for protection during transit;
b) clearly mark your return reference number on the outside of the parcel; and
c) include all accessories and parts that were sold with the Goods.
Failure to adhere to any of these requirements could delay the processing of your request or result in its decline altogether.
1 Circumstances in which Returns are allowed
1.1 We permit returns in the following instances:
a) The incorrect Goods have been delivered to you;
b) The Goods delivered to you are damaged or defective;
c) You do not want the Goods which were delivered to you.
1.2 If we accidentally deliver the wrong Goods to you, or if the Goods are not as described on the Website, please notify us and we will collect the Goods from you. Once we have inspected the Goods and validated their return, we will:
a) deliver the correct Goods to you as soon as possible (if the correct Goods are available); or
b) credit your account with the purchase price of the Goods excluding any shipping costs.
1.3 We do our best to ensure that the Goods we deliver to you are of a high quality, and without defects. A defect is a material imperfection in the manufacture of a Goods or any characteristic of a Goods, which makes the Goods less acceptable than one would reasonably be entitled to expect in the circumstances.
The following will NOT be regarded as defects and will not entitle you to a return:
a) faults resulting from normal wear and tear;
b) damage arising from negligence, user abuse or incorrect usage of the Goods;
c) damage arising from electrical surges or sea air corrosion;
d) damage arising from a failure to adequately care for the Goods;
e) damage arising from unauthorised alterations to the Goods;
f) where the specifications of a Goods, although accurately described on the Website and generally fit for its intended purpose, do not suit you.
2 When a Return needs to be initiated
2.1 Returns need to be initiated within fourteen days of the Goods having been delivered to you.
3 How a Return is initiated
3.1 All returns shall be initiated by emailing the following information to email@example.com: the reason for the return,the condition of the Goods returned should be documented using photos including sealed package before it was unpacked and unpacked contents.
3.2 Pick-up address for returned Goods will be the original shipping address only.
4 Manner of Return
4.1 When returning the Goods to us, the following shall apply. The Goods need to be:
a) undamaged and unused.
b) in the original packaging which must be undamaged.
4.2 We will send a courier to the original shipping address to collect the Goods. We will provide you with information on the approximate time-frame when the package will be collected. Since we are relying on third parties to collect the package we will not be able to give you an exact time and date for the pick-up
4.3 If the packaging was received on delivery in a damaged state and cannot be used to complete the return delivery then the Goods need to be repacked by you in equivalent packaging ensuring it is packaged and wrapped safely. We will not be liable for any damage to the Goods during the return shipment.
5 Goods Inspection
5.1 Once returned, and prior to accepting such return, we will be permitted to inspect the Goods.
5.2 Should the Goods in our reasonable discretion not be suited to be returned, we shall not be obliged to accept such return.
6 What will happen once Goods are returned
6.1 Once returned, and subject to an inspection, you will receive a refund for the full amount of the Goods excluding the shipping charges.
7 Excluded Goods
7.1 Custom made or made-to-measure Goods and digitally downloaded Goods are excluded from the cancellation and refund right.
