We select the artist not only based on their experience but also on how reliable they are to ensure we always are able to serve you best. We have young and emerging artists as well as acclaimed artist in our portfolio to ensure that we can offer you art a price range that is affordable to all.

 

Each of our artists is featured on our site, with a portfolio in which they self-describe themselves and their work. Check them out here, and find extra information by looking at their collection and social media channels.

We sell art by both established, and up-and-coming artists from all over the world, after they have gone through our selection process. Our curators ensure that the artist is reliable, and the art is of a high quality before we offer it to you for sale.

We only sell original art on this website. Some art, such as prints, may be sold as printed copies of the original artwork, however these will be signed by the artist and only printed in a limited number.

It is possible to commission and artwork by an artist and request that the artwork be based on an existing artwork. However the interpretation of the newly commissioned artwork by the artist will make this new piece unique.

No we do not. All art will be attributed to an artist and will have a certificate of authenticity delivered together with the artwork.

Yes of course you can. Just contact us and let us know what kind of pictures you would like us to take. We will arrange the pictures and send them to you as soon as possible.

If you have multiple rooms, an office, a hotel or any other space to decorate, our curators are happy to discuss your requirements and help you source the required art, even if you do not find what you are specifically looking for on the website.

We currently do not offer framing services for artwork that you purchase. We are working to include this in our offer.

We accept payments with all major credit card companies.

If you have issues paying, please contact our team directly through the chat function on the bottom left of the screen. We always try to answer as quickly as possible and help you with your concern. If our chat is not online please email us.

Shipping costs will be calculated based on the country and shipping address. In addition to South Africa, you can find the list of countries we ship to here.

If you live in a country we do not ship to let us know which product you are interested in and we will be happy to help with a quote for your address.

Our artists follow very strict rules regarding packaging ensuring that the artwork is protected in the most efficient and safe way as possible.

Paintings, Sculptures of Fragile Objects will be packaged exclusively in a Fit to size box to ensure their safety.

We always try to get your artwork to you as quickly as possible, by using well-reputed international recognised shipping providers and for some countries we may also use reliable local courier services.

However, as our artists live and work in a variety of different areas, your delivery time may vary depending on the location of the artist, their availability, the size of your artwork, and your location.

We aim to ship your order from the artists within 10 working days from your purchase

Yes we will send you emails to update you on the progress of your order. You will receive following updates:

– Upon the completion of the payment you will receive an email receipt detailing your order number.
– Once shipment for your order has been planned with the shipping company we will send you an email with your tracking number.
– For most providers you will be able to track your order online using the providers website.

If the packaging arrives damaged you will need to ensure that you make note of the damage on the courrier delivery note when receiving the package.

Once unpacked, you should immediatly or latest within 24 hours of receiving the package inform us of the damage by emailing us.

We will arrange for the artwork to be retuned to us.

If you do not inform us within 24 hours of receiving the package we will consider the artwork has arrived safely and undamaged to you. From that moment you hold the full responsibility for any damages or losses to your artwork, even if this damage occurs within the free returns period.

If the Artist is able to repair it, we will resend it back to you once repaired.

You may also opt for a refund of the full amount which we will debit to your account once you have returned the artwork.

However once the artwork has been transferred to you by the courier undamaged, you hold the full responsibility for any damages or losses to your artwork, even if this damage occurs within the free returns period.

Of course, simply enter a shipping address different to your billing address when processing the payment, and we will make sure it is sent the correct location.

If you have inserted incorrect information then you should email us as soon as possible on We will try and resolve the issue for you. However, in the rare event that any complications, damages, or loss of product arise from your provision of information you may be liable and are not eligible for a refund.

Depending on yours and the Artist’s location you may be required to pay import taxes for your country. You should always check with your own country’s customs authority to ensure your artwork will be allowed to enter the country. Duty and Custom fees are not included in the purchase price and will need to be paid in full by you.

Yes, you can return it for free within 14 days of it arriving. However we will be unable to offer a refund if the artwork is:

– damaged by you the customer.
– damaged in the return delivery, if the packaging does not meet our packaging requirements.

We reserve the right to inspect the artwork upon return to ensure that it is not damaged, and will offer you a refund once this has been confirmed.
