At the core of this artwork, the timeless figures Tintin and his ever-faithful companion, Snowy, take center stage. These characters, crafted by the legendary Belgian cartoonist Hergé, are captured in a pose that perfectly encapsulates their spirit of adventure and inquiry.
The canvas is composed of pages extracted from a financial newspaper, featuring articles and data related to financial markets and current economic trends. This background provides an absorbing contrast and context for the characters.
Intriguingly, amidst the backdrop of financial data, a figure reminiscent of Miss Martine Vandezande, a character from the Tintin series, emerges from a telephone booth. She is depicted as a scantily dressed woman, and in the French language, she exclaims, “we can get out, the rain has stopped!” This exclamatory phrase also serves as the title of the artwork, adding a layer of narrative and commentary.
All art is packaged professionnally in boxes or cardboard packaging.
