I am an artist focused on the human being and specifically portraiture. I like to experiment in many different ways, as part of the way I express emotion in my work. Some paintings are done with brushes and expressive wide strokes and other times I feel to use a palette knife and thick and heavy paint. My work is hanging in private collections internationally and nationally.

Publications include Premier Lounge Magazine, Bidvest Magazine, the cover of Michelangelo Magazine, House and Leisure Magazine and VISI Magazine of August 2023. My portrait of an Italian lady, was one of the Top 100 of the SANLAM Portrait Competition in 2016. In February 2020, I spent a month in Paris, as resident artist at the Cite Internationale des Arts.

I started to earn my living as artist in 2004. Before, I cruised on a yacht in the Caribbean, USA and Bahamas. Now, after many years, I am back in Cape Town.
