Initially, I focused on Equine paintings working on commissions in either oil paint or graphite pencil. The past year I have felt a need to widen my horizon and spend more time on developing my work as an artist, painting the ideas that float around in my dreams and in my head.
Through colour I combine my love for animals and my love for art. Large formats are my favourite being able to zoom in and really capture the details and essence of the animal. Surrounding it by an explosion of colours, whether it’s vibrant blues, greens or purples . . . who knows when the pink fairy will strike again.
