The Captain
In this artwork, a slumped king looks at the viewer. He holds the reins of the horse on which he sits. Three playful birds sit on a thin fence. The background is largely divided into white, light blue and green. His cape also serves to create two big red colour planes. Written next to the horse is the text, “I ride today my steed to town and wear with pride my heavy crown but in my heart I long to hear the crash of the waves on the hull so dear…” signed then “The Captain. This sentence provides context and connects the idea with the anchor tattoo that the king has on his neck.
All art is packaged professionnally in boxes or cardboard packaging.
