“The series “Please be Seated“ is influenced by the things that surround me in my everyday Life. I’m fascinated by history, antiques & architecture. I’m a huge lover of heritage homes & the stories the walls have to tell. I am also a big lover of fashion, costume design, theatre ( where I worked as a professional performer) & of course the subtle element of story telling. Creating eclectic scenes filled with detail, mysterious characters, prints & pops of colour! The style of these works have previously been described as sets, which in hind site makes total sense. The stage is set & the plot unravels. All these elements combined make up the mystery of a scene… Allowing you to decide for yourself what’s unfolding before your eyes.” Kyle Jardine
