In mythology and the study of folklore and religion, a trickster is a character in a story who exhibits a great degree of intellect or secret knowledge and uses it to play tricks or otherwise disobey normal rules and defy conventional behaviour. This piece is the result of a mixed media on canvas painting I did in 2019, which I digitally remastered.
My graphic pop artwork is routed in technology, borrowing a variety of contradictory visual imagery (such as stickers, comic strips, social media icons). Through various digital processes, I manipulate, paint and layer these images in, behind and around a portrait, to create a whole new mixed media digital artwork.
All art is packaged professionnally in boxes or cardboard packaging.
